¿Qué son las ceras lubricantes industriales y las emulsiones de cera?

Las ceras lubricantes no son lubricantes básicamente sólidos. Forman una capa lubricante seca al tacto en la superficie de la pieza para garantizar una lubricación confiable al tiempo que reducen la fricción límite y mixta. Están compuestos de polímeros hidrocarburos sintéticos, aditivos y aceites (aceites minerales, hidrocarburos sintéticos).

A diferencia de la cera lubricante, las emulsiones de cera son a base de agua y contienen emulsionantes. La evaporación del agua deja una película firmemente adherida a la superficie.

Es importante entender que la cera se convierte en líquido a cierta temperatura. El punto de fusión depende de la composición y la proporción de la cera.
