Product advantage
Only one lubricant can be applied to both seals and rolling bearings, reducing the lubricant inventory you require.
It has good compatibility with EPDM seals and even beer foam, which can improve seal life and reduce downtime.
It has high resistance to various types of media, including disinfectants, cleaners, water, and steam, ensuring maximum protection for seals and bearings, enhancing lifespan and reducing operating costs.
Meets NSF H1 food grade lubricant standard.
Your needs - our lubrication solutions
NORBERT GTE 703 is a specialty grease based on silicone oil and polytetrafluoroethylene. The product is NSF H1 certified and complies with FDA 21CFR § 178.3570.
The NORBERT GTE 703 has been developed for accidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food processing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical or animal feeding industries, which can effectively improve the reliability of production. However, we still recommend additional risk tests, such as: HACCP. In addition to seals, the NORBERT GTE 703 can also be used for low-load rolling bearings (very low load applications, C/P ratio greater than 30 and slow operation) in the beverage industry where EPDM-compatible H1 food-grade lubricants are required.
NORBERT GTE 703 is resistant to cold water, hot water, disinfectants, detergents and vapors. If applied properly, it will not affect the formation of beer foam and the taste of beer.
Product application
NORBERT GTE 703 is a specialty grease suitable for beer taps, filling units and valves. NORBERT GTE 703 can be used as an EPDM-compatible and FDA-compliant H1 food grade grease for beverage industry seal lubrication. In addition, the product can also be applied to low-load rolling bearings.
Precautions for use
The NORBERT GTE 703 can be lubricated with a spatula, a grease injection gun, or extruded directly from the tube. Caution needs to be exercised when choosing the lubrication technique of a high viscosity lubricant: Before using the system, air should be avoided, otherwise high pressure will cause it to oxidize, thus causing the product to break down. Therefore, we recommend pumping this product with the lowest possible pressure. It is possible to communicate with or consult the equipment manufacturer. In general, users should ensure that only new high pressure pumping lines are used in their lubrication equipment. To be vigilant of grease leakage in the production line, we recommend equipping with suitable protective devices (e.g. goggles).
NORBERT GTE 703 is neutral to most metals, thermoplastics and elastomers. However, due to the diversity of elastomers and plastics, compatibility should be checked before a range of applications.
