NORBERT L 250L is a special grease based on silicone oil and polytetrafluoroethylene that is highly stable at high temperatures. NORBERT L 250L has good permeability in lubrication gaps and hard-to-reach lubrication points. The product has a high viscosity and still has good adhesion even in complex geometries. NORBERT L 250L is resistant to cold water, hot water, and even high temperature vapors up to 180C, as well as industrial cleaners and disinfectants. NORBERT L 250L is also resistant to pumpable foods and beverages such as fruit juices, beer, or milk products. The product is not resistant to organic solvents, strong acidic or strong alkaline solvents. NORBERT L 250L meets the relevant regulations of FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. This grease has been specially developed for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and animal feed industries for accidental contact with food or packaging materials. The use of NORBERT L 250L can improve the reliability of the production process. Nonetheless, we recommend that a risk analysis such as HACCP can be attached
Product application
The NORBERT L 250L is used as a lubricating and sealing grease in the following industries: Domestic drinking water valves, such as ceramic sheets or piston cores, thermal regulation devices. The grease content of this lubricant is almost independent of temperature, so the NORBERT L 250L guarantees constant and stable regulation over the entire range of hot and cold water use in, for example, single-handled faucets. Valves and fittings for heating devices, such as thermal controllers, water pipes, press-fit seals, etc. The NORBERT L 250L also has good installation auxiliary features for radial shaft seals and packaging in contact with hot and cold water and steam.
Precautions for use
The NORBERT L 250L is generally compatible with most metals, thermoplastics and rubbers. Due to the diversity of rubber and plastic materials, we recommend confirming compatibility before bulk use. The NORBERT L 250L can be used with a spatula, brush or commonly used metering equipment, as well as pad printing methods.
